Terms & Conditions
As a Domestic Energy Assessor, LAV ENERGY's Terms & Conditions are defined to govern the activities of visitors on the website and the relationship between the site visitors and LAV ENERGY. These terms are crucial in protecting LAV ENERGY from potential legal exposure and ensuring a clear understanding of the services provided.

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Lav Energy Surveyor Services Ltd. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Services Provided, We provide Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for properties in the UK. The EPC includes an on-site survey and lodging the certificate with an approved accreditation body.

Booking and Payment. Bookings can be made by phone, email, or via our website (if applicable).

Full payment is due upon completion of the EPC survey unless agreed otherwise.

Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, cash.

Cancellation Policy: Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee to cover travel and admin costs.

If we must cancel or reschedule, we will provide notice as early as possible.

Access Requirements: The customer must ensure clear access to all relevant parts of the property (e.g. lofts, heating systems) for the surveyor. If access is not possible, the EPC may be delayed or incomplete.

Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate information about the property. Any misleading or omitted details may result in incorrect EPC ratings or additional charges for re-visits.

Liability: We exercise all reasonable skill and care in performing EPC surveys. However: We are not liable for any indirect loss (e.g. missed sales or letting opportunities). Our liability for any direct damage is limited to the price of the EPC.

Intellectual Property: All EPC reports and materials provided remain the intellectual property of Lav Energy Surveyor Services Ltd. Clients are granted a license to use these for their intended legal purposes (e.g. property sale or letting).

Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
